Thrash metal legends MEGADETH have officially announced the European leg of their multi-year farewell tour, "Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations."
The 24-date arena tour will kick off on March 9, 2027, in Belfast and conclude on April 13 in Lisbon, bringing one of heavy metal's biggest touring packages to fans across Europe.
Joining MEGADETH on every date are fellow metal heavyweights BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and TESTAMENT, making this one of the most anticipated tours of 2027.
Rather than a single farewell run, MEGADETH have chosen to celebrate their final chapter with a multi-year, worldwide tour, giving fans several opportunities to experience the band live one last time.
Dave Mustaine shared the band's philosophy behind the tour:
"This isn't about saying goodbye. It's about celebrating everything we've built together over the last four decades. Every city has its own story, every crowd has given us unforgettable memories, and we want to come back to celebrate that with the fans who made it all possible."
The tour follows the massive success of MEGADETH's seventeenth and final studio album, which became the band's first-ever No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, cementing their place among heavy metal's most influential acts.
Fans can expect a career-spanning setlist featuring classic anthems, fan favorites, and songs from the band's final chart-topping album.
Tickets go on general sale on August 7, while Cyber Army members receive early access beginning August 4.
