Industrial rock visionary Celldweller has returned with "Respawn," the second single from his upcoming sixth studio album, GOD MODE, now available on all major streaming platforms via FiXT.
According to Klayton, the creative force behind Celldweller, the concept for GOD MODE was inspired by the classic video game culture of the 1980s. Growing up with systems like the Atari 2600 and ColecoVision, he wanted to create an album that celebrates gaming across different generations while combining elements of industrial, metal, and punk rock.
Lyrically, "Respawn" reflects the mindset of refusing to give up, even when everything seems lost. As Klayton explains, the song serves as a reminder that no matter how difficult life becomes, there is always another chance to rise again.
For more than two decades, Celldweller has been one of the leading names in industrial rock and electronic metal, with music featured in numerous films, television productions, and video games. GOD MODE will mark the next chapter in the project's long-running evolution, promising another powerful fusion of heavy riffs, electronic soundscapes, and cinematic storytelling.
