Italian heavy rock band SBARCO have released their new single "The Divorce", accompanied by an official music video. The track is another preview of the band's upcoming second studio album.
Following "Get to Know Me", the new song continues to showcase SBARCO's evolving sound, combining heavy rock intensity with emotionally charged songwriting and the expressive contrast of their dual-vocal approach.
"The Divorce" takes listeners through a deeply personal story of loss, vulnerability and transformation. Its lyrics describe a moment when familiar certainties begin to fall apart and identity itself becomes difficult to hold on to.
Rather than remaining in that darkness, however, the song gradually turns toward renewal. The imagery of losing one's skin and a shattered shield reflects the vulnerability of facing pain without the usual defenses, while the story ultimately becomes one of resilience, healing and a new beginning.
According to SBARCO, "The Divorce" is about finding the strength to rebuild when everything seems lost. The band sees faith, trust and the willingness to embrace change as important parts of that process.
The new single is part of SBARCO's work on their second studio album, currently being developed with producer Simone "L'Architetto" Colombo. The band describe the upcoming record as a continuation of their renewed artistic direction and a step toward a more mature version of their heavy-rock sound.
The official video for "The Divorce" is available now, while the song marks another step toward SBARCO's forthcoming sophomore album.
