Texas progressive metalcore outfit Fervence are preparing to release their new full-length album Constructs on October 16, 2026 through Metal Blade Records.

The record marks the band's debut for the influential metal label and follows a period of major development for the group, which originally began as guitarist Trent Odneal's solo project in Reno, Nevada in 2019.

Fervence released their debut album Ghost in 2020 before returning in 2023 with vocalist Stevie B. The new lineup continued developing the band's atmospheric blend of progressive metalcore, aggression and more melodic, emotionally driven passages.

Inspired by artists including Deftones, Architects and Silent Planet, Constructs explores themes surrounding existence, relationships, life and death. The album contains eleven tracks and represents what the band describe as a more fully developed version of their sound.

Lead single “Zenith” focuses on the emotional impact of prolonged health struggles and the feeling of being trapped inside your own body. The song is accompanied by a music video and offers an early glimpse into the deeply personal themes running through the album.

Musically, the new record also reflects a conscious shift in the band's songwriting approach. Odneal says the writing process placed greater emphasis on giving the vocals room to develop melodies, while building songs around atmosphere, structure and powerful choruses.

Constructs was produced by Trent Odneal and guitarist Austin Bentley, with Zack Ohren handling mixing and mastering. The album also features striking 3D artwork created by Billelis, reflecting the record's themes of identity, relationships and experiences as temporary “constructs”.

Constructs will be released on CD, digital formats and vinyl on October 16, 2026 via Metal Blade Records.
