Following the release of their acclaimed single "Halo", Italian progressive metal band Beriedir continue their journey toward their upcoming third album "Liminal Spaces", with the release of the haunting new track "Neon" and its accompanying Official Music Video. "Liminal Spaces" is set to be released via Rockshots Records on January 10, 2025.
Building on the bold evolution of their sound introduced with "Halo", "Neon" invites listeners into a labyrinth of endless corridors, illuminated by the pale hum of flickering lights. Perception falters, shadows morph into shapes and noises become disquieting voices. The song explores the mind of a prophet—a lost soul guided only by dreams and fears as he navigates toward distant, unattainable realms. With melancholic atmospheres, introspective lyrics, and dynamic arrangements, "Neon" continues the thematic and sonic depth that defines Liminal Spaces.
The band shares: “'Neon' represents disorientation and clarity in equal measure. It’s about being lost and finding meaning in that very process, even if the destination remains unreachable. Musically, it’s one of the most intricate pieces of the album, and visually, we’ve aimed to translate that into an evocative and immersive experience.”

The Official Music Video for "Neon" brings its enigmatic narrative to life, combining shadowy corridors with atmospheric imagery that echoes the song’s themes of introspection and transcendence. Directed by Luca Rapuzzi, the video perfectly complements the immersive journey offered by the music.
With "Liminal Spaces", Beriedir have fully embraced a progressive and experimental sound, moving away from their power metal roots and creating something that will enthrall fans of Pain of Salvation, Leprous, Katatonia, Gojira, and Dark Tranquillity. As they delve into melancholia, longing, and existential questions, the band cements their place as one of the most exciting voices in progressive metal today.
Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the next step in Beriedir’s journey through Liminal Spaces.

Beriedir offers a sound that, throughout their discography, spans from progressive power metal—characterized by its signature, neck-breaking choruses—to a contemporary progressive identity, delivering tight rhythms, gargantuan emotional sections, and earth-shattering, surgically precise breakdowns. This powerful musical package is wrapped in introspective themes, melancholic and nostalgic, creating a dark and enveloping aesthetic.
The band originated as a project by frontman Stefano Nüsperli and began their live career in 2015 with the release of their first demo, The Line. From that point on, they have participated in numerous musical events, such as Fosch Fest 2016, and have had the opportunity to share the stage with renowned metal acts like Korpiklaani and Pathfinder.
In 2018, they released their debut full-length album, The Path Beyond the Moon, which allowed them to reach a broader audience. Following the release of their acoustic EP, Lullabies Beyond the Moon (2020), Beriedir signed with Rockshots Records in January 2022 for the release of their second full-length, AQVA, which features Ivan Giannini (Vision Divine, Derdian) as a guest on the track Stormbound. The album received enthusiastic reviews from the press and was warmly welcomed by listeners. As a bonus track, the band released the single Send Me An Angel, a cover of the song by Vision Divine.
Following the album's release, Beriedir performed several live shows, sharing the stage with prominent bands from both the Italian and international scenes, such as Stratovarius, ELEGY, Moonlight Haze, Trick or Treat, Strana Officina, Derdian, Crying Steel, and others.
After a period focused on live performances and production sessions—including the release of a well-received cover of Lady Gaga's Bloody Mary in 2023—the band released Elegies From The Lighthouse, an EP featuring acoustic reinterpretations of tracks from AQVA, in September 2024. Shortly thereafter, they announced their third full-length album, Liminal Spaces, scheduled for release in January 2025, once again through Rockshots Records.
