Wait Until the Dark is about this roller coaster of life. Ups and downs, black and white, hate and love. One must realize that even in the darkest times there is also a learning curve. Possibility to learn something from it and come back stronger afterwards. So, let`s embrace the dark and welcome it as a part of our existence rather than fear it.

The story of Serpent Fire began in 2022 when Jukka Piironen started after a long hiatus making new music again. He already knew Jukka Mursu (Gorem, Vinnfrost, Nex Locus) and together they started studio project. Soon they had songs coming very rapidly and decided to record an EP with other players. Along came guitarist J.K Hel (ex- Man Eating Tree, Corpset), keyboard player Marco Sneck (Poisonblack, Chamelion) and Pete Karjalainen (Gorem) on the drums.
The result is melodic death metal in it`s most melodic and aggressive form and you can hear the coldness and melancholy of Northern Finland in every note! Main songwriters Jukka Piironen and Jami Heikkala has already sharpened their writing pen again and new songs are on their way.
