Italian modern metallers R.O.T. (Revolution Of Two) have just released on their social media pages their video documentary called "Before The Revolution" and they are also proud to announce their brand new single called “Pretending To Live”, featuring the Mexican bassist Uriel Olvera from the band Blinded By Hate. For the band it represents an approach to new sounds never experienced before and a substantial change in songwriting. The song follows the theme of errors, dealt with several times by the band, this time, however, a single song is not enough to tell this story.
R.O.T. is founded in 2017 from ashes of an old band that involved the main line up of Louis (Luigi Cervellini) and Eddy (Edoardo Merlino).
R.O.T.'s name is inspired by the song “Revolution Of Two” from the Swedish band Avatar , the name are really closer also to the lyrical themes with a Japanese/otaku fictional world that reflects the eclectic nature of the band members but also the passion they put in their project
The band declares about the song: : “ Once dead, do you have the opportunity to look back? Are we really punished for our sins? Can we do what we want with our life without triggering consequences after death? "
So you just have to stay tuned to the band's official channels, Pretending To Live will be released on January 15, 2021, and pre-save is currently available on all digital distribution platforms.
