Swedish rock heavyweights GRAVEYARD are returning with a new studio album — and they're bringing considerably more heat this time around.
The band has announced "Fever", their seventh studio album, which will arrive on October 9, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records. Alongside the announcement, GRAVEYARD have released "A Means To An End", giving fans the first taste of what is shaping up to be a heavier and more direct chapter for the band.
Following the darker and more introspective atmosphere of 2023's Six, Fever puts considerably more emphasis on fuzz, distortion and hard-driving rock. The album moves between heavy grooves, blues-infused moments and straightforward classic rock energy, while retaining the character that has long been associated with GRAVEYARD.
The band worked with producer and mixer Pelle Gunnerfeldt, known for his work with THE HIVES, REFUSED and VIAGRA BOYS, while Robin Schmidt handled the mastering.
Despite the heavier direction, GRAVEYARD haven't abandoned their blues-soaked side. Tracks such as the album closer "Dead Note" reportedly slow things down while maintaining the fiery atmosphere running through the record.
The visual identity of Fever also marks a change in direction. The album artwork was created by Dutch artist Maarten Donders, who previously worked with GRAVEYARD on their split seven-inch release with GOAT and has become a familiar name within the Roadburn scene.

GRAVEYARD have already scored two No. 1 albums in their native Sweden, and the new album will launch another touring chapter for the band.
The first shows will see GRAVEYARD sharing a Scandinavian co-headlining run with BLUES PILLS, followed by European dates and festival appearances in 2027.
With Fever, GRAVEYARD appear ready to trade some of the restraint of Six for a louder, rougher and more immediate sound.
"A Means To An End" may only be the first taste — but the fever is clearly rising.
