Melbourne rock outfit The Vendettas unleash their most powerful and dynamic work to date with the release of their brand-new album 'Who’s Who In The Zoo', out now on Golden Robot Records.
Recorded over two years at Cavern Sound Studios and ColourSound Studios, the album is a testament to the band’s relentless drive, creative evolution, and raw energy. Known for their stadium-sized sound and unapologetic attitude, the group pushes their musical boundaries without losing their signature punch.
'Who’s Who In The Zoo' opens fire with “Jealous and Evil”, a quirky track that not only sets the groove for what’s to come, but also displays that the band has taken things to the next level in the studio for album IV. Another highlight is “Lovesick Man” a snarling, rebellious anthem that demands to be played loud and proud — a true middle finger to societal norms.
In stark contrast, the sweeping ballads “Out in the Rain” and “Fly on the Wall” showcase the band’s emotional depth and storytelling prowess, earning their place as standout tracks. From the relentless riffage of “Head On Collision” to the anthemic rally cry of “Raise the Weary”, ‘Who’s Who In The Zoo’ is a record proves that The Vendettas are as versatile as they are powerful.
“This album is the truest expression what we feel we sound like, in a packed dive bar, with the speakers rattling” says the band. “We wanted to push the boundaries both musically and sonically, and create something we’ve never done or heard before, rather than trying to sound like something, or mimic someone else — and we think we’ve done that.”
Fans of classic rock grit and modern edge will find plenty to sink their teeth into. The album 'Who’s Who In The Zoo' is out now on all platforms via Golden Robot Records.
