Moonshade is a melodic extreme metal band from Porto, Portugal, founded in 2011.
Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut Sun Dethroned, the band released a new single, titled Epitaph, on April 8th, 2022, as the first advance for their new album (title and tracklist to be announced).
Epitaph is the first single from Moonshade's sophomore album. The song is now out in all digital platforms and streaming services, and is meant as a protest against the ineptitude of world leaders in terms of meeting carbon emission goals, as well as the criminal attitude of fossil fuel companies. This is Moonshade's rallying cry for all those who truly care about the Mother Earth.

Epitaph's music video was directed by Joël Martins, veteran video content producer and frequent collaborator with Season of Mist (Aephanemer, Omega Infinity).
