Leading the charge in a new breed of Irish Hard Rock, Portlaoise Rockers, VENDETTA LOVE combine the anthemic brooding darkness of Seattle grunge, with the danger and excitement of LA’s Sunset Strip. And it’s a glorious noise!
Following last months’ critically-acclaimed single, ‘Witches & Thieves’, alternative Hard Rockers Vendetta Love channel a Kurt Cobain[esq] sense with their memorising, tortured-soul anthem, ‘Blackened Hands’.
Hailing from the midlands of Ireland, Vendetta Love specialise in the type of Hard Rock that most believed was long gone, dead and buried. Not only have they proved people wrong, but their heartfelt approach to song writing has caught the attention of tastemakers around the globe, thanks to their fantastic single, ‘Witches & Thieves’ [released last month].
Now today, the band invites you to step a little further into the shadows with their brand new single, ‘Blackened Hands’. A sombre, emotionally-charged composition that is brimming with melody, and pulsating strength. Speaking of the track, vocalist/guitarist, Shawn Namaste commented:
“Lyrically that song is, to put simply, a recognition and a release of some very fuckin long held pain, and trauma. That I had to get out of me.”
Vendetta Love will be embarking on a UK/Ireland 25-date tour starting in May 2022 with British Hard Rockers, ‘Harsh’.
