Katre is a Berlin-based instrumental post-rock/metal band formed in 2014. The band takes its name from the old Arabic word “katre” which means the “drop”. One distinguishing aspect of Katre is that they tell stories with their songs and create concept albums. Their debut album “Encounters”, released in 2017 via Fluttery Records. Τhe 2nd studio album of the band titled “Behind the Resilience”, tells a refugee story.
“Behind the Resilience” is produced by Chris Edrich (Gojira, Tesseract, The Ocean, Klone, Leprous) and it is available on digital platforms from 30th September 2021.
