Innersphere is a melodic death metal band with elements of doom metal from Pilsen, Czech Republic, formed in 2015.
The band got many positive reviews after releasing the first full length album Amnesia in 2018, when they also appeared at a prestigious Brutal Assault festival. The band played at “Within Destruction tour” in 2019 as main support for Nahum, playing 40 concerts in 6 countries including: Goathell Metal fest.
Innersphere self released a debut EP in 2016, full length album Amnesia in 2018 under Metalgate records and a new album Omfalos is coming out on 25th February 2021 under the label Slovak Metal Army.
“Omfalos is our third studio record. I can say the two years between the previous album and this new one makes a real difference - we pushed the things further in all terms. The record feels compact and solid. We made nine songs plus intro, sounds modern and powerful. Also the album is more progressive.
Every track can offer different moods, motives, tempos and we can speak about a melodic album where we used keys in a bigger extent than before… By the theme we can talk about as existential piece blend with many metaphors focused on our own existence. The album was recorded at the Barn Studio in May 2020, mixed and mastered by Dan Friml and we are pleased by the sound Dan created with us on this record…”
