A first single from upcoming album of progients BETWEEN THE PLANETS

In the past, the Prague instrumental progressive project has occasionally flirted with guest singers, but can assure its fans that even the third album, called „Parallel World“, will be held mainly on instrumental waves. Musically and soundly, however, there has been a significant shift from the previous album.

BETWEEN THE PLANETS have previously found their handwriting in combining ambient, electronic background, art rock and djent-influenced metal groove, but in terms of structure and work with sound, the single „Time Dilation“, released around Xmas, represents a clear shift from the first listen.

Despite the sound-rich layering and massive sound, the composition is compact and continuously graduates in terms of arrangements, Martin Spacosh’s careful mix then allows you to hear even the finest details. Jacob Hansen (Katatonia, Evergrey, Amaranthe, Vola, Aborted, etc.) took care of the mastering.

There will be eight songs on „Parallel World“ and the release (digital, CD, MC) is scheduled for the spring of 2021.

„Time Dilation“ from „Parallel World“ coming in 2021.

Between The Planets, evolved originally from the solo project of guitarist, composer, sound engineer and producer Martin Spacosh (Elbe, Martians etc.) and got on concert stages and since 2012 has been one of the Czech certainties, which after the second album „Of Inner Sight“ (2017) also appeared at the Brutal Assault festival and in June 2018 supported the Swedish Meshuggah at their Prague’s show.
